I really like making my grand am different from the stock ones. I have been to many websites to check what I can do, but many of those sites don't have anything for 95 Grand AMs. So could someone please tell me information and websites that allows me to perform mods to my car.

I do have a spoiler that no other Grand AM has and its not one from a pepboys or autzone. I will provide the pic in a few days.

I also made my own custom grill.

Thank you for your help :D

www.aedcentral.com

www.andysautosport.com

those are two of the more well known sites. andysautosport has like 3 body kits you can get all or peices of them. I am fond of the aed kit myself and think I will be getting it when I get back from the desert. what kind of stuff are you looking to do?

i know about body kits, their are 4 kinds of them and i do agree with you about the aed body kit, i will get that when i get more money and when i have a second car because buffalo winters are bad.

I do have tints, pontiac symbol on back window, "Grand AM" on the front window, spoil, 3rd brake light say "Grand AM", black headlight covers, and custom grill.

I want to know where i can get "functional" hood scoops, custom tail lights, and rims.

So could someone please give me information on the above statement. Thank you very much for your time

good luck on the hood, I am still looking for same, I may get the body kit for the 96, change the head lights just so I have a few more options on hoods, eather that or get some scoops and have them molded in but I am sure custom work like that is not cheap and with all I want to do I have to watch every cent, it seems anyone that makes hoods has forgotten about us 92-95 owners.

I am sure you have read about how to "clear your own tails" if you havent you should do a search, doesnt seem to be much out there for our lights eather.

I am probely not being much help but I do wish you luck.

Whats up, i think i remember giving you some info on automotiveforums. Theres no tail lights for your car, you can make them from GT tails. andys sells a hood for you car, and soon there might be a CF hood for your car. go to www.wheelmax.com anything that is 5x100 will fit your car.

URWEAK, i do remember you from automotive forums, but whenever i see your name it says disbanned. You were one of the only ones who new about Grand AM's

Actually i just checked out andy's before you did that post, it does look pretty sweet, but cost wise isn't sweet.

What would the cf hood look like?

I would like to make them but i think i would break the plastic cover, but i do like those tails with no cover in a further down thread. I would like to have red circle lenses so i wouldn't have to use red LEDs.

I really do wish that more websites made stuff for 92 - 95 grand ams because this model doesn't look that bad.

Thanks for all the help i hope more people can help me.

yea, i got into some trouble from posting some shit i had on ebay. and they didnt like that to much. So i got banned, and then i got another account to find out why, and so i found out, then they banned that. so now i just keep making new acounts till they ban them and i make a new one.

theres list a few posts down for a CF hood. we need more people to show interest. I saw you wanted scopes so that probably isnt what you want but who knows because it'd be an OEM style hood.. It looks like everyone covered all the bases, there isnt much out there but there is stuff.

Nerve is that hood scoop functional

urweak

its a "pin on" hood scoop, or in other words you put the scoop part onto your stock hood. So then you would have to fut your stock hood up to make it functional.

I have been trying to find out an answer for that my self. I will let you know if i get any info.

I just found it today and am thinking when I get home I might buy it even if I have to modify it. but for the price I hope it is already open.

urweak, do u like the hood scoops

nerve143
10-12-2004, 12:26 AM
urweak, actualy a "pin on hood" really means ( not sure if fxdesigns is using it out of context or not) the hood is not held on by stock brackets/hood latch (hood pins)

nerve143
10-12-2004, 12:29 AM
they are called "pin on" because the hood is held on with "hood pins"

i didnt say pin on hood, i said pin on hood SCOOP. Or stick on scoop whatever you want to call it its not a full hood, it goes on your stock hood. End of story.

I've seen the hood in person and it's pretty cool. My only complaint is that the scoops are a little too high to fit the look of our generation of GA in my opinion.

The hood scoops are designed for our generation
