Has anyone painted their dash with Vynil paint or anything along those lines? I was considering doing something like that when I get my car back from the shop tomorrow. I also have crappy white cracking painted rims and was going to have them sandblasted (or do it myself) and paint them some sort of metallic color.

I was just wondering if anyone had experience doing either and if you could offer some tips and tricks to go about it.

Thx.

I personally have vinyl dyed the dash, it's not an easy thing to do, the only proper way to do it is to remove the entire dash out of the car, you will have to do some permanent modification to the dash, but it can be done, and is alot of work, but Vinyl dye does work very well

Yeah I figured I was going to give it a try and just to the air vents and the door panels and see how that works out first and if I like it and have the time I was gonna do the dash.

I hear its not the expensive to get the center council done professionally so I might just get that done I'm still really unsure at this point.

Thanks for the input though.

Thanks it only took like 20 min to make, I found the GA on a site selling exterior mods and decals. I'm hoping I can make mine look like it someday.

The center console comes out real easy..... mine looks pretty damned good, I think. I did the hard plastic, not the vinyl, but it wouldn't of been hard to do the vinyl. I spent like $10 and spent an hour or two doing it.

Did you sand everything? With what grade sand paper?
