any sudjustions anyone?
the biggest reason i want a bov is beacuse hearing the turbo backspin/butterfly sound drives me crazy cause i know its slowly damaging the turbo.

That noise you hear.....kinda like a fluttering sound is actually wastegate flutter. Wastegate is rapidly opening/closing as you get of the boost. However, having a BOV does make the turbo last longer.
There's plenty of good BOV's you can use. Try searching around Ebay to get an idea what's out there. I'm using a 1G DSM bypass valve that's vented to atmosphere.
Only difference in BOV vs. Bypass is the bypass is designed to recurculate vented pressure back into the turbo intake.

ya i want the sound i know wen you have a maf u need to recurculate the air back into the charge system but im almost 100% sure mine is map sensor not maf so its safe to blow it off i have been looking on e-bay but the ones i see are for 13+psi my car dont run that so i need one lower.
7-15 psi would do me fine.
you know of any in that range?

This one looks good:

They have ass loads of 1G DSM bov's for cheap. They are very reliable but probably don't make the sound you're looking for.
I was too lazy to go through all 9 pages of hits from searching "blow off valve"

There are several days left in the auction....it will sell for alot more.
If you don't want to use ebay, find a performance shop and buy a new BOV. Will be more expensive but it will also be brand new. A performance shop should be able to help you decide what a good BOV would be for the boost you want to run.

i got the TurboXs RFL, and im very happy with it. but it probaly wont work as well for you unless you raise you boost, i had to cut a few coils off the spring to get it to open, because its rated for 25psi and im only running 10.
