How many miles when your LIM gasket was replaced?

Just curious. Mine was updated before I even bought the car, but I have a few friends that had to replace theirs right about 2-3k after the warranty was up - how ironic :roll2: ...............

I don't know if mine was replaced before I bought the car, but I had it done and it lasted less than 10000 miles, so I'm doing it myself this time. It's hard to say if this is a good idea or not, but I obviously can't do much worse.

Wow, sorry to hear that.

it really makes me mad that GM never updated the gasket on any of the new vehicles once they realized that the original one was crap.
