AFAIK there are no supercharger "kits" available for the Quad4. You could likely fabricate one, but I would guess that a custom turbo setup would be easier.

Yeah, only option would be a turbo setup or possibly even an electric supercharger.....ideally they should help some but i don't know if they DO work or not.

But to honestly help out here...i think the best bet for GA's in probably NA...or maybe a shot of nitrous. FI is good, don't get me wrong, but for the average joe all motor w/ n2o is cheaper, easier, and for the most part, more reliable. (if done right).

Yeah , probably a Nitrous kit would be the best for this engine . You'd still get good mileage when not juicing it too . Or how about swapping in a V6 ! :cool:

Can a supercharger from a GTP be put on a 3.1? Sounds fun at least. As for the 2.4, turbo or NO2. Just remember that if you do a turbo kit, you can probably buy, install a refill 10 times a NO2 set.

The older Grand Prix GTP's were used on 3.1 engines, so yes, those can be put on the na 3.1 liters with a little modification. Not sure how well a supercharged 3800 would bolt up in the older GP's, like the pre-97's....but god would taht be a fast car!!!

Now there is a good thought. As for the guy that laughed at the electric superchargers.....well they do exsist...someone is selling them on ebay.....*laugh* They claim 10 to 15 hp increase....
