I power-washed my car last friday. i started the car after, drove it to the parking lot, went back inside Fine. I go outside, start it up fine, put it in drive...stalls. try to start it up...nothing. my cars been sitting in the school parking lot since last friday. i was able to determine that there IS fuel pressure but there is no spark coming from the igniton coils. What are all the possibilites for a no start condition?

Did you happen to wash your engine also? You may have gotten the wires wet. If so try using wd40 or any penetrant on the wires, this will displace the moisture.

yeah thats what i meant by "car", i shoulda been specific. its not the wires cuz the spark isnt even coming out of the coil packs. i think its the ICM below the coil packs.

Sme water prolly migrated under the coils and is shorting the termials from the ICM into the coils.
Keep the ignition off.
Remove the each coil, dry the terminals, reinstall.
Good luck.

when you say you know you got fuel pressure.. did you just press on the schrader valve to see if it sprayed out.. or actually test it... since if our cars have only 20 lbs of pressure which is tons to spray it out... but it wouldnt start the car...
As for ignition module.. when they go generally they will allow your car to run but really poorly... you say you have no spark...
Check all fueses since you couldve caused a spark. because no spark is bad... all i can say is hope its just a fuse..

have to tried pushing the gas to the floor and starting it? Also do you hear the fuel pump.

remember even if you hear the pump... it still maybe not pusing out enough pressure to start the car..

i pressed the valve on the fpr. i checked the fuses asnd they were all good. i even went to the extent to checking the ecm if there was any obvious damage. as for the fuel pressure, i relived the pressure from the fpr, tried to start it and there was fuel again so i assumed there was pressure.

ya dont mean its the right amount... im on a limb here but the odds of it gone are unlikely .. but just because you relieved it.. dont mean there is enough pressure for it to start the car.. you need a pressure tester to tell you how much you have... my car has about 40 psi i think .. and well if your hitting like 15 psi.. your not gonna go very far
