no cutting w/stage3 CAI on 99?

Is there really no cutting necessary to install the stage3 CAI from Doctor Speed in a 1999 GA GT1?

Is the installation easy? About how much time?

Shouldnt be any cutting if its made for the grand am. I put one in my 2.4 (not the same one your talking about) and its easy.

Should be same as 01,if so it took me 30 min. to get the intake resonator off(6 months ago) and then 10 min. to install the kit.

I installed the CAI (Stage 3) from the Doc on my '99 3.4 SE (R.I.P.) and there was absolutely no cutting necessary. It's a snug fit but you shouldn't have any trouble.
