Rain = Slick Road

Stupid rain this morning helped cause the first major body damage to the GA. I was on an offramp that really isnt that bad. It isnt a curve that people stay a certain speed on. But I was on it this morning about 50 slowing to around 40-45. As I started braking and my tires in the back slid left and I hit the concrete barrier thing on the the right near the headlight and all that, then did a sliding 180 spin and hit it again. Finally stopping. SO the hood is off line, fender is smashed, headlight is in pieces, the jarring knocked the loose lense off my taillight. est 1600-1700 bucks for fixing, but they didnt add foglight to the costs.

No pictures. I dont have a digicam and dont feel like wasting money on pictures of my messed up car. Insurance deduct. is 500 so I wont have to pay it all, just 500.

that does suck. must be the same rain i was in all day today. sucked terribly. i couldnt see going to dinner tonight! it was all that misty water, and we were all going slow following the car in fornt. felt like i was two trackin it in the middle of winter!

ya the only thing to watch out.. when it rains after a long period of sunny or no rain weather.. its really slippery .. but here in Victoria BC or just north of Seatle it rains alot so we dont really have the problem.. since after 2 days of rain my tires stick good.. but the first day.. watch out im not stopping for nothing
