She was only 15 years old, with 110302 miles on her. She put up a good fight, despite burning oil like a mofo for several thousand miles, but we finally took her off life support today. It wasn't a pretty site, but it was for her own good. RIP 1989 Grand AM LE Quad 4.

I never thought i'de be sad to see this thing go, but its making me so miserable! I mean, its only a car! And not even the best of cars either!

Im starting to look for another car tonite. Im pretty sure my budget is going to be $4000 on this one. I looked last night and I found a 97 GTP for a good price, but I don't know how many miles on it. Theres also a green 98 GA GT for sale down the street from me at a small dealership. The paint is just PERFECT on this thing, so Im leaning toward that next.

If anyone would like to say a few words, please do so. This is truely a sad day.

Another poor Quad 4, is put to pasture. Never again to feel the rubber burning from it's wheels. Never again will it press you back into your seat between shifts, or eat V6's as there, drivers look at you as you fly by.

Never again will the sweet taste of 5w-30 touch your 16 valves, or dip from your rod bearings or will you feel the green stuff drip through your raditor. Bone dry the heater core will become, the last few drips of oil falls from the oil pan. Yes poor Quad 4, the time has come, to drive you no more.

HeHeHe.

I miss mine old 89 LE Quad 4, 5 speed some times too.

WHy don't ya go for a rebuild? How did they "die"?
At least it's not a '68 Firebird 400, a '66 GTO, or a '69 Bonneville.
