Engine swap...which engine???

Hey, whats up everyone???

I have a 95 Grand Am SE with the 2.3L DOHC engine in it right now. I am looking into doing a engine swap, but I have no clue what engines will fit in my ride? Now, it does not have to be a Grand Am engine though. What I am looking for is an engine that is pretty powerful to begin with, but also has a lot of performances upgrades EASILY available for it as well. So, I thought I would start here and ask all you GM gurus and see what we can come up with. Any and all help will greatly be appreciated.

do a 350ci swap you would be the first GA owner that i know to do that... and ya it will fit .. they did it to Beretta's .. but to give you a good answer just drop in a factory 3100 v6 for your year... would be easiest...

1st choice - W41 Quad 4
2nd choice - HO Quad 4

Both will need a 5-speed manual, if you don't have that already.

You can drop any engine in any car. They will all require some work. How much of that work you're ready to tackle only you can know.

"Plug-and-Play" drop-ins don't exist.

Actually, if you have a manual transmission and OBD1 on your 95, a W41 or HO is almost plug-n-play. (just need a pre-95 powersteering pump)
