^ :agree: You will have to heat it up a little though so that it fits perfectly. A blowdryer will probably do the trick.

or you could stick it in the oven for a few minutes :blake:

thanks, i will get the 1987-1993 Mustang 2-1-16" Triple Full A-pillar 59.95 from that website. Would the gauges from autozone and pepboys fit in these? This is my last question.

All 2 1/16" guages will fit, no matter where you get them from

I'm not sure that anyone has made a triple pod before for our years of GA's. I've looked around forever just seeing how the dual ones were used/made, whatever, and I have never seen a tripple one done before. Good luck and that would be awesome if you get it to fit.

I think the 92-98 GA A-pillars are the same...

The only problem is if it doesn't work, i would waste 60 dollars. So i need a poll to tell me that its a good idea to do it.

Here is the site Pod (http://racenet.net/racenet/cart.php?vendor=ATM&partnum=12101)

Thank you for your opinions!!!!:D

So i need a poll to tell if i should go through with it

The site is Pod (http://racenet.net/racenet/cart.php?vendor=ATM&partnum=12101)

It is for 1987 - 1993 Mustangs but it is suppose to fit 92-95 grand ams when heated up. Is this the type that won't use screws and it should just stay connected when it is wrapped around?

Thank you for your suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can guarantee you that the dual pod will fit with little modification. I won't say that the triple guage one will. I highly doubt that it will fit because you are not replacing the a-pillar, you would just be adding to it. That is why you would just mount the dual one onto your existing a-pillar.

I'm sure you could get the triple one, cut off the ends, mold it to fit and just screw it down. But I have never heard of anyone doing that. Almost anything CAN be done, you will just have to decide how much customizing you will want to do to make it work.

So for the dual pod, i will just screw it in, but for the triple gauge, i will place it over the whole a-pillar.

I thought heating it would expand it, so i can place it over the a-pillar?

I would probably be having problems with the top and bottom of the triple gauge, right?

The first pic is the dual guage pod from the mustang...
I couldn't fina a pic of the mustang triple pod one but you should get the idea. (second pic)

Double guage pod - All you would do to this would be heat it up, mold it so that it fits around your current A-Pillar and screw it onto it, then wire up the 2 guages.

Tripple guage pod - The full mustang A-Pillar looks nothing like the A-Pillar of your GA, so you will not be able to use it as a replacement or just slap it on over top of your existing pillar. The only way there would be a possibility to get it to work would be to trim off the top and bottom parts, therefore only using the part with the guage pods and screwing them to your existing pillar (just like the 2 pillar pod). But I still can't guarantee you that this will work.

So u don't think it will fit, because it kind of looks the same

It might not fit because of the top of the a-pillar, but who knows???
I will probably buy a universal gauge pod for my car at Pepboys.

I found out from another person on a different forums site that 92-98 A pillars are all the same in the Grand AMs?

Is this true, I would just like to know so i can start looking for 96-98 gauge pillars.

Thank you

actually its not a bad thing for this sort of thing. There are still no pods made for the 92-98 Grand Am,unless there. But yea,I totally forgot what years for the Mustang would fit.

That is the whole reason we keep old threads around to help people find what they are looking for.

Some people could take this as a good example on how to use the Search button to find what you are looking for before posting a question that was just recently asked.

Boy, they get beheaded for not using the search button and stoned for bringing back old posts.

This is the mustang pod molded to fit and screwed on. Some people have gone the extra step and actually glassed it to the pillar. 92-98 A-pillars are the same as long as they are from the same style of car (ie. coupe-coupe and sedan-sedan)
