i found the supppper cheap LEDs on the Onzium website. im sure ill find a way to power them, only problem I have is, how could I wire them to only come on when the car is on or when the headlights are on? i COULD install a switch if I wanted, but i'd like them to come on automatically too. any ideas?

Where exactly are you going to be putting them at? Inside the car, inside a headlight? But either way you would tap into your low beams so they come on when the low beams are on,usually at night but sometimes during the day if its overcast(thank the day time running lights). If its inside you can tap to almost anything like the cigarette lighter power wire then run a wire to a switch. Hopefully Magyver(Brandon) will see this and help ya out,he is the LED king around here, has the most LED's on and inside his GA right now:)

if out side tap into foglight that way u can turn off if needed or headlight if u want on same time light is. if in side tap into foglight switch again so it can turn off. or interior light of some kind

they'll be in the interior. i'll probably just wire them to a SPST switch. thanks!

How about a double throw switch with a center off position. You could feed one side from the instrument lights and the other side from the cigarette lighter. That way they would come on automatically, manually or none at all.
