I plan on blacking out my headlights(not using covers) and Im not sure what parts I need to black out.And would I just use masking tape to tape off areas? and would I need to be careful about the chrome coming off when the masking tape is taken off?

For example on what Im trying to achieve....Newer mustangs headlights and sort of like the Impala's..

im high as hell rite now, but ill try to write...i blacked out the inside of my headlite this once, i even took of the cover etc...but i apinted the chrome part..everhthin insdie i painted black, then i put it on my car, and the headlight woulfnt refelct for shizzle, like u coundnt tell my lights were on, anywyas, the chrome in their is cheap crap..i wouldnt be suprised if it ame offw/ tape.m,....

:lol: Better let me check those pupils:P :D But no I don't wanna paint everthing chrome,just parts that would give the look but not the areas the light reflects off the most,mainly the backing.
