Well, guys, im selling the GA....
reason is i needed something with 4x4
snow is just to much for the GA where i live

I cant afford to have 2 vehicles, so i have to get rid of the car....

ill sure miss the GA :(

but its looking like im buying a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport
36,000 K for (there asking but im not paying 21,900 Canadian)
2 Dr, Black, MINT! it must been a woman that had the truck b4, i cant find anything wrong with it!

the deal isnt final, but i love it.... always been a Ford fan

Gonna Trade in GA, or selling it (possible buyer right now)

ill still be around, but i wont be the GA enthusist i use to be

With the price of gas lately you'll have to sell the GA to pay for the gas that 4x4 is gonna use ... :lol:

How much is gas in TO now? It's at 86.6 here up north today.

My brother had a Mustang SVO (2.3L turbo)a couple years back and if he got stuck he'd floor it until it got going again. It threw lotsa snow and burnt some rubber and one day he blew the diff out on it.

Gas has been up and down in TO. 88 at one 84 at another. I guess it depends on where you go. Still way too expensive!

Living here in the Detroit area, I'm pretty familiar with the currency conversion.

$1 USD = $1.35 CND

So when you guys are paying 85c a liter that about 63c USD. Having 3.8L = 1G, than you pay about $2.39 USD for a gallon of gas compared to our average of about $1.95 around here....ouch!

Ok first, DONT SELL THE GA! heheh what do you mean you need 4x4? No one needs that, I dont care how much snow you have. hehe look at me, I live in alberta and I will swear this GA has saved my life countless times. You couldnt ask for much better out of a car. IT has trac control and abs, both are very very nice to have in the winter months. The only thing you could ask for better, is AWD. And if you want to get 4x4, save the money and save up for an AWD car, that way, its on all the time and you never have to worry about shifting into 4x4. And since you live in saskatchewan, you know as well as I do, it doenst matter what you have, you hit ice, and your screwed no matter what. Have you tried running winter tires? I personally just went out and bought some X-ice tires and they improve driving hugely! SO dont sell the ga. Its got what you want on it and with some good winter tires, it will perform so much better. Trust me.

Oh, just another note. My buddy had the same ideas of you and decided to buy himself a 99 XLT. Trouble was, gas is so high he sold it because he was constantly filling it up and it chewed up gas so quickly. He then sold it and bought an '04 Wrx

funny story, i go and wash the vehicle (pet peve is dirty vehicles) , after i wash it... i for to grandparents,have my visit, when i start it up to leave, i notice my battery light on i was on, thought nothing of it at first.....well.....it hasnt didnt anything, and i was driving around all night,(waht u expect, u always drive anything new for hrs on end) all fine and dandy.....
well, this morning (3am when i work) i pressed the key to open the vehicle and the lights usually flash but didnt ..i was like SHIT!
car started fine i was like,,,meh ill go to ford and check it out after work..... 8 am rolls around ,me and a good mate decide to drive around on are break, i hit a red light, stop at it, then cd player start going all weird flashing and crackling, ABS light goes on airbag light goes on i was geting paranoid.... well.... i go back to work, turn it off, start it again, now battery light on again, and tacks not working,,,i was like,,,,this has gotta be the altanator!, start it once again and it was fine, heh, well,,,,after work i go home get some loonies, just give truck quick rince,get 2 blocks from carwash, and car stalls, well, i phonr buddy he boosts me, i make its half a street from ford, and it stalls again, buddy boost me once again, get to ford, park it turn it off... talk to my unlce, he didnt say much, just go get an appoinment set, so i did, he wanted me to move it to service area, ye.....dead again....

my story for the day so far!

gotta love warranty!!!!

Put a good set of snow tires on it Seems like one of the tire mfgs is fond of saying, "You go in rain (ice?), mud or snow , or we pay the tow!" find out who was saying that about their tires & take them up on it! with it's f/w drive & decent weight bias the ga should do ok with some snow tires.
