Bicycle Rack for a 2001 Grand Am GT?

Hello all,

I am curious if anyone knows where I could get a roof mounted bike rack setup.

I have the power moon-roof that sticks out over the roof of the car and a spoiler.

The only thing that I figure would make sense is one of those bike racks that sit over top of the roof. I would want one that would hold a full size mountain bike without having to remove the wheels because my bicycle has disc brakes (non-fork mounted).

I don't want to spend tons of money, but I think it would be a good idea to have one so I can get back into riding other places besides around the neighborhood.

They definately have them. A buddy of mine had one that functioned well. He recently sold the car, I'll ask him what he did with his if you're interested.

Thank you for replying. Yes, I'd be interested in hearing more about your friend's bike rack.

I am looking for one that would still allow the front wheel of the bike to stay on and is easy to use.

I have a 2001 GAGT, would it be safe to say that if it fit on your 2003's roof that it would fit on mine?
