looks awesome man.....I keep telling myself to get on this project but keep needing the money for something that happens to the car, hopefully its something I can save up for b4 the end of fall(golf course closes after Thanksgiving) so hopefully I have a couple more paychecks to save. Keep it up its going to look awesome.

Oh and I can't believe your dash trim was spray can paint, looked damn smooth and clean, more like fiberglassed and spray gun painted.Good work! Can't wait to see the finished project!

Yeah.. it seems alot easier on 99+. and VanishingImage.. thats why im making this page. To show you dont HAVE to spend alot of money to do it. Im driving from san diego to washington in January so its gonna be nice for my wife to watch a movie while i drive. Keep her off my back. I got an FM modulator for the sound and i'm gonna get her a personal FM player with noise cancelation headphones so I can still listen to my music and she can be off in her own world watching a movie.

where did you get that sony flush mount thing

wokeupscreamin

i got the flush mount from http://www.maptechenterprises.com/ The guy who makes them needed someone to try one out on a grand am and write up an install and take some pictures for his website. In exchange he gave me a free "grand am" hu mount and a "sony" mount. I wanted one I could modify and he wanted me to take pictures of the grand am one. BUT with this current project I no longer need the flush mount kit. So I might be selling the "grand am" one. Anyone interested let me know. If you want anything custom made, talk to the guy who makes them mypenname@hotmail.com . He's a real nice guy and can do about anything you want.

you should consider putting your HU in the hvac spot and moving the HVAC down... since you need very little space in behind for the hvac but you will need a bit of space for the HU to sit properly... (and you probably use the controls on the HU more than the hvac so it'd be more convenient.

Yeah. I'm gonna update the page probably tonight. I ran into a little design flaw though. I have to remedy that problem and then it should be well on its way to completion.
