I was driving normally home from work, and I pull out from a stop sign and my transmission blew chunks all over the road... i dont know what caused it.... i didnt even know what happend, i though i ran over something, it still drove fine, but i got home and there was a large puddle of trans fluid in my drive way so i look under the car and see this:

Oh crap!!! That definetly doesn't look good... I'm not sure what it is, but I have a question. Is your car still under warranty? Because if it is im sure that would be covered.

well when i bought it, it was just out of warranty, but i did purchace the 4 yr extended warranty, so ill have to see if they will cover it

I think the trans warranty is good thru 140K if that's any consolation.
