Just a heads-up the Speed channel is now on 24/7 for early birds like me and insomniacs. :D

Everytime i turn to that channel, i see NASCAR, and thats it.
Not to bash NASCAR, but i HATE IT! It seems like thats the only thing on that channel.

I agree to a point. Nascar certainly does seem to be taking over. Don't worry though, they should have some excellent WRC and Paris-Dakar rally coverage soon. :D

the Speed Channel did a show called 'Pinks' at the Cedar Falls racetrack. from what i heard is that the show puts 3 of their drivers up against 3 local ones for 'Pinks'. from what i heard is that the show got their asses handed to them all 3 times but yet no one got to take a new car home?

Do they EVER have any non-race show? I think thats what I meant by my first post, sorry.

I hear ya, it's frustrating. The weekends in the morning are better @ seeing non- nascar programming. For some reason I cannot get into nascar. I've tried on more than one occasion & I either change the channel out of boredom or fall asleep.:lol: I know it sounds morbid but the only time it entertains me is if someone crashes.:)

Lol, I've always wondered if there were "others" out there. Give me a good rally or F1 anyday but nascar doesn't seem to work for me.

I can watch a race, but I'm just not into it. I usually end up falling asleep. Now, rally racing, stadium trucks, hell, even NHRA I can watch for hours.

Myself im a fan of FIA and SCCA rally, the ALMS, Trans Am, Grand Am(rolex series), Speed World Challenge, F1, F3000...Virtually everything EXCEPT N.A.S.C.A.R.

Who else here watches the show Motorsport Mondial like its the prime time news?
