Best Home DVD System Under $450

like the title says, I have 450 dollars and would like to get a dvd home system.
Any suggestions?

well i live in canada.. so im betting it would even out .. i have a JVC home theater... its a couple years old but it has all speakers 2 front 2 rear 1 center and 1 100watt sub if I remember right.. and bought my dvd play for 100$ the stereo was 400$ at the time.. but being cdn$ im sure thats about right... you can buy the systems that are all in 1 dvd and amp in the same unit. but i prefer them sperate... my sounds decent.. 500 watt amp puts out pretty good.. now go some tower speaker for fronts.. helped it out a bit... anyways thats what i got

there is a philips dvd player out now that can play avi files......if that interests you, its under 100 bucks too.
