how much do you guys think it would cost to take the leather from my seats and use it to cover some race seats? can it be done? basically i want race seats but i also want them to match my current interior.

Just go to an upolstrey<sp> shop. I don't know how you would reuse the stock leather but I highly doubt it'll be close enough to do so. A good shop can match the leather better than factory plus add more detail, etc.
