tranny fluid

This is probaly the wrong section but I was the best section I could find.

What tranny fluid to use in 2.0L turbo 5/speed tranny? Can't find correct fluid.

Wow, I had typed a nice long post on auto tranny fluid....then realized you said 5 speed.

The only thing I can find is "GM Synchromesh Transmission Fluid (part no. 12345349) or equivilant. Capacity is 3 quarts...that's right quarts.

I've got a 3-speed auto and will be going with B&M Synthetic Trick Shift. Run it in my 3100 GA and my SVX and I'm happy with it.

Hear nothing but good things about royal purple. My son runs it in his turbo Talon.

i use BG Syncro Shift 2 full synthetic in my 5 speed
