OK guys/gals I know there have been quite a few people lately with older 3100s very interested in doing a 3400 or newer 3100 top end swap. Just to let everyone know who is looking that I MAY have an extra set of new heads and intake manifolds for the 3400. Also, if anyone wants to know I MAY have an extra set of exhaust manifolds, valves, springs, retainers, and pushrods that are new from a 3400. I should know within 2 days, and I will post it here and then in the wanted section. Also, I MAY have a 95 engine that I will part out if anyone is interested. IF I do get them I will start the prices at the following: (doesnt include shipping which the buyer must pay for too)
$100 exhaust manifold
$100 intake manifold
$200 heads
If there are more than 1 person that wants an item, it will then turn into an auction. All other items are based on best offers. Once again this is still an IF. BTW these items are made for a Pontiac Aztec. This means the exhaust manifold on it are much less restrictive than the ones found in the GAs and Aleros. Thats how they squeezed the extra 10hp and 5lb-ft out of the Aztec 3400.

According to the guys over on GAGT its the exhaust manifold differences that determine the extra 5hp and 10hp on different 3400s. Actually Spoon the resident GM mechanic there said thats what it was too. This is also a reason why the 3400 GAs get so much of a gain from headers. I dont think they can make the intake side of the 3400 that much bigger and better flowing than they already are on the GA 3400.

Now hopefully all the parts mentioned comes in the crate or else there will be some serious hell to pay! I will probably get them in mid to late next week and I will then post pics of the spare parts and also post it in the trading post. BTW all valvetrain parts will be sold together and start out for $150.

this one is tough to see but its both the downpipe I will use plus the extra downpipe and the exhaust manifold (top on the other side-hard to see) I'll get better pics of all when they come in. Also, as you can see the heads and valvetrain are pretty much already assembled so I might sell all those as one. We will see when they come in.

Just to let everyone know, Im now gonna post it in the buy sell and trade forum. No I dont have the parts yet but I need to get rid of them ASAP to pay off some bills.
