Ok, i know there have been other questions regarding headers for the 2.4, but has anyone recently installed and header set successfully and would like to tell me how good it is?

I have been thinking about gettting the Pacesetter headers, but i have been told they suck, and the other ones i have looked into were the RKSport Headers. The only problem is that all of the headers made are for Cavaliers or Sunfires.

Now i know they bolt up right because they all have the same engine, but my question for anyone who has installed headers on a 99+ 2.4 is, was there any modification of things such as the firewall, or did it fit right in anyway?

The one thing i do know, is that the O2 sensor needs to be moved, but is that only problem with them?

I've been looking into the samething you have and I have recently seen the RKsport hearder they have and then checking out my firewall clerance and it looks like it would fit with no problem.

pacesetter makes a header for the 99+ GAs, i think rksport uses the design of the pacesetter header. So i would just go with pacesetter, spyhunter/azeniskid was the test car for that header. ask him about it.

I have the Pacesetter Cavi/Sunfire header, n I've been driving with it on my car since the summer. I have no problems with mine, n we even forgot to put the gasket on.

Yes, everything bolted up perfect. As u already kno, the o2 sensor bung needs to be rotated 180*. Buy new bung, drill new hole, weld bung into hole, plug up other side. Reattach wires. Done.

Oh yeah, the downpipe needs to be cut n rewelded to the cat also. The pipe is otherwise too long.
