anybody have any reccomendations on where to take my car to get an engine swapped in, particularly one that can do crazy custom shit like say a gtp engine in a ga?

I really do not know if there are any shops around here. Motorsport Dynamics might be your best bet, but I do not know if they do American cars.

Problem with engine swaps, is the stinking emissions stuff.
If they do an under hood inspection you don't get the license for the car.

I don't think that's true. Guess it depends on the engine swap. Putting a 3800 SC in a GA probably would fly, if done right.

Sorry, I'm no help. I've been trying to find a decent paint/body shop in the area to paint my car for under $2K. The car is fully kitted with the RK kit, but not painted. Gotta get it painted so when the dry weather finally comes (if ever) I'll be ready for the next meet.

Not to tread on your thread, but does anyone know a decent paint/body shop around here in the Bay Area or even in the Sac area?
