I have seen the dealers cleaning snow off cars with something that looks like a polystyrene type squeegee.
Anyone know what they are or where to find one?

Not that it answers your question but I got a 18" soft bristle floor broom that I use to remove snow. It has a wooden handle and head. I used a marker to write "Snow Only" across the broom so I don't pick up any stones that would scratch the paint.

You may find one of those squeegee things at a big auto parts store or maybe a home store. They have something like that for removing snow from roofs.

I just figured if it was something special to preserve the paint on new cars,ya know?
Your suggestion sounds just as good...and probably alot cheaper too :)

I believe this is what you are talking about: Sno Brum (http://store.yahoo.com/herrington-catalog/m280.html)

I use my california water blade...it works surprisingly well, actually.

No problem. I had just received their catalog in the mail and saw that and thought it was interesting. Literally five minutes later I saw your post.
