I want your opinion on my sound system and what I just bought.
Currently I have a SONY head unit with an output of 52Wx4, 26W RMS.
In the doors I have Pioneer 3-ways, and Pioneer 4-ways in the back.
I just ordered a subwoofer system and want an opinion. Here are the links for the components.

Subs (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5730352962&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT)
What do you think

It looks like you're going to have a lot of trouble with your system... I'm guessing your Sony headunit isn't one of the top of the line models, so that's going to hurt you. Sony is known in the car audio world for making some really crappy, really cheap stuff. I didn't even know that Boss made car audio, and that auction didn't even show what RMS that amp is at, just the max wattage of 1200. That's not a good thing, man. That amp could have a RMS of only like 400, and then those subs you got aren't going to thump like you thought they would. Sorry to bring you down on everything you just purchased, but ask around first next time. I know limited budgest = limited stuff, but then it's better to get a little at a time and get quality stuff then to get a bunch of cheap shit right off the bat that's going to sound like crap and maybe not even work for you...

Well the RMS for the Subs are only 600W, ao I am guessing the RMS for the amp will be like 650W considering the max of the Subs are 1100W.

ok well i put this out ... one thing is alot people forget that the person that ask this question just needs a little help or relative info on thier system.. and arent looking for a skull crushing system... I will say your subs wont win any competitions but as for the prices you payed cant go wrong... i will be enough to cause some rattles.. and turn it up when ya want.. but as for the pair.. they are coupled fairly well.. for power ratings .. hard to say on the amp.. since you would need the detailed specs for us to make a proper descision.. but one thing people dont look at is the S/N ratio... on amps that amp is 98 db which is decent... the reason why pyramid and pyle are crappy is thier S/N is 89 db... and well for example my amp is 105 S/N db.. and even though its rated at 60x4 at 4ohm.. it would kill a 4 channel amp at 100 watts @ a 91 db SN ratio... the power is more efficient.. and so on.. but as for your system.. comparing to your general setup and budget.. i would say you will probably be pretty happy with and most people thats plenty .. for what they want

Yeah, I am not looking to be one of those rap type guys will my trunk vibrating. I am looking for an increase in the bass of my music which tends to be rock alternative most of the time.
And my head unit was top-of-the-line at the time. However I bought it when it was a 2 year old model, for $cheap$ from crutchfield. SONY is good I dont know what you read that said they werent. They'vegot this thing called DSO which makes the speakers in your door panels sound like they're in your dash. AND IT WORKS TOO! It sounds so much better than the Kenwood I had.

It's not that I read that Sony sucks, it's that I have had sony, and it has sucked. For that reason, and the reason that at least 10 people that I know personally and a bunch on this board that have had sony ALL have had problems with it. My first deck ever was a sony xplode, it lasted almost 10 months before it all of a sudden ate one of my CD's and that was that, it never turned back on and I never got that CD back. Then, don't get me started on their speakers. The pair of 6x9"s I had in the back lasted about a month before they blew. This was WITHOUT abuse! I was the only one that drove the car and only had the volume excessively loud a few times. I have had personal experience with sony sucking, as well as many other members of this forum.

if you're pleased with you sony that's a good thing......becuase 90% of the current owners of any Sony car audio are right the opposite. luckily i learned from my friends mistakes and never bought any sony car audio. sony really should stick to home theater. back in the good ol' days of Mobile ES sony had some pretty good stuff, but that new Xplod crap is horrible.
kenwood makes pretty decent stuff....but alpine makes a great headunit for the price. it's not the best on the market, but it sure beats what the average person buys.

99% of of what your stereo is worth, is simply what you think it sounds like. If you like it, and it is affordable then more power to you.
I wouldn't worry so much about it since it sounds like you're not going for the high-end gear that a few people on this board crave. The best suggestion I can give you is to either have someone do the install work for you who is a professional, or else take the time to do the install properly yourself. There is a sticky post on things to look out for at the top of this forum with info on how to properly fuse your power cabling, etc.
Sony is OK. It is far from crap, though that term is relative to what you want to do.
Your best bet would be to ask for help in installing the gear if you are not already familiar with it. Provide pictures of your install if you want tips or recommendations on clean-up/proper installation instructions.
