I have heard that headlight eyebrows could be a problem for inspection. Does anyone know if this is true?

Iwould think it varies from state to state. The inspections I have been through are concerned with safety issues like tires, brakes, lights, steering components, etc. The new rules for NY are including emissions testing and the check engine light.

as far as I know.. In pa you can have the back 3 windows tinted to like 20% or above. as far as the eyebrows..... as long as your turn signal is visable it shouldnt be a problem. I had a windshield eyebrow on my car for a while and it lasted about a year.... so im thinkin since you have to get your car inspected once a year... just put the eyebrow on after your inspection.

you MUST have an orange reflector visible on the side of the car near the front... you probably wont pass with them on.

I've seen headlight eyebrows that allow a nickel sized hole so that part of the reflector shows through. Would that be legal? Or must the entire relfector be showing?

Anything that impairs light output typically will not pass inspection.
