also a 91 Corsica with 170k can pin the speed-o to the dash, and still have a smooth ride

Kinda easy when the speedo max's at 95 MPH. Sometimes mine used to get shakey though. :nervous:

on that 91 corsica the 3-speed tranny is slipping real bad. If put it in drive you have to about push the gas about halfway down so the tranny can catch. It will not change out and first when when at WOT. In matter fact if you floor it in first the tranny will slip then catch and chirp the tires. Kind of cool when you going 30mph.

The 125 and 125C transmissions are ALMOST as bad as Chrysler transmissions.

we had an 89' corsica.. bulletproof.. it had 240,000 miles on it when my brother finally killed it (rolled it over three times)
that thing would cruise right along at 120 on the highway smooth as silk

lmao, i use to have a topaz, the speed-o would go to like 85, and i would bury the speed-o on the highway, probably like 95-100.

Tell you friend to see that van and tempo and get something else.

the tempo gets 26mpg and is a speedy little car. It's a 92 with only 80k. It might not last too much longer it goin on 10k since it last oil change. He don't care about, i would take it. It's a 3-speed auto 2.3hsc. 100hp and 130q The thing beat my grand am on the interstate because it can go over 107 :grrr:

The van is cool it use to be a coke van :lol: Anyways he likes and the groups likes it. No seats in the back. You can haul anything

They take the biggest beating and keep on going.
And they're cheap too.
