5 Spds

From what years did they make 5 spds with our cars? or do they still make them?

Im having a tough time finding a Manual transmission!

from 96-98 the grand am came with the isuzu 5speed tranny Then from 99-02 (2002 when they stoped making the 2.4) they used the getrag tranny. but all years from 96-02 had a 5speed with the 2.4 as an option.

think about this... less than 10% of all grand ams came w/ a 5spd

is that for all 88-04 grand ams or for 96-02? or some other figure?

My 2002 has the 2.2L ecotec with a 5 speed.

Bought it used (private sale), got it cheap cause most people wanted an automatic.

side note..... 92-98 SEs and GTs could have the manual tranny

99+ all GTs are autos because they are all v6s
so that reduces the number of 99+s to only SEs

urweak...the 95s also have the same isuzu as the 96-98 (i'm sure you know that tho....lol)

lol yea, i had that in the post, but then i changed it b.c i was referring to just he 2.4s
