The GM charger adds about 40hp to the crank, or in other words will boost you from 150hp to 190hp. The GM charger will work with 99+ 2.4s in any car, and can work with the older 2.4s with some work.
Theres a GM charger on ebay for about 2k (but the seller has no feedback, and the discription isnt the best in the world) or you can order one from a dealer for around 3k or you can find one online from gmparts sellers for around 2300 i belive
The GM charger comes with a pulley for 8psi and you can buy a pulley that will up the boost to 10psi (but for some reason i want to say 12psi, but my mind might be playing tricks on me at 2am)

GMPerformance.com (i think thats right, but it something like that) should have it. it the same they put on the Ion and stuff. and the Ion puts out 205hp at the crank. but it set up for the blower, so 190 sounds right if you just bolt it on. i asked them once about it, and they said that it wont work for a 96-98 2.4 bc of the computer not being combatable or some shit. but with some work around the computer(like injectors and stuff maybe), it should work. of course brackets and what not might have to be found or made.

it'll bolt up just fine to the 96-98 cars... just you can't implement the reflash and instead have to beef up the injectors, get an fmu, and a adjustable fuel regulator to compensate.

No it comes with a pulley for 4.5psi but you can get pulley for any psi but the more psi you run the hotter it get and less power will be produced

No it does not...though with a manual you can control the pressure by dictating the engines RPM's...any which way it will be fine.

it's the org, be careful who you listen to. Most people are full of shit, while there are the token few who still put up with the morons.
