Have you guys heard any good things about the Pacesetter 2.4L Black Steel Header? I got the 01 G/A 2.4.. Ive been reading the forums, and I don't want to fabricate anything (o2, collector hitting firewall/everything else). I was just wondering if its gonna bolt right up with no problems.

I think you need to move the o2 sensor postion 180 degrees, and that black coating will last you, oh, about 3 days

I have Pacesetter's steel header for the 2.4L Cavi/Sunfire. It all bolted up perfect, no problems. Just had to plug up the original bung hole, n then dremel a new hole 180* n weld a new bung in it's place. The paint burnt off pretty fast, but who cares? cuz u can't see it.

I think they do now, but I got mine before they did. I got impatient from waiting so long.

Fine, then to answer ur question, the header I have n the header they have made specifically for the GA are EXACTLY the same header, except they've already moved the bung for u. So yes, u won't have ANY problems with the install. It will bolt right up, n the black paint will burn right off.

OK, thanks...do you like the header? like, can you notice it?

that black paint is to just protect the header while it's stored and shipped...... it's not a protective coating by any means for when you're using it on your car. Pacesetter does have ceramic coated versions available.

a lil FYI: they used my car as the 99+ 2.4L test car... :-p

No complaints. I don't feel it much all at the low end, but I def feel it at the highs, especially at WOT. I haven't been to the track since I put it on (which was back in July, I think) tho, so I don't kno how it'll affect times.
