hey guys, im kinda new so bare with me plz...my squadron is holding a burn out contest for a fun raiser/moral event. and i would like to enter...the problem is today i went out to practice and really wasnt to much...i have a 2.4 GASE w/CAI and custom exhaust...i was wondering if there are certain tires i should get and a good procedure on how to get the hole smokin effect and how its all done...its not for another month but i want to get a head start on it! :)

That's pretty easy. Get some junk tires that have very little tread on them for the front, put some water down, pull up on your emergency brake and let 'er rip.

Then make an appointment with your transmission shop..... :)

the taller the tires the better and use your E- brake

You can also increase the tire pressure to reduce the contact patch for less grip. I've never done it but would grease (vasoline) increase the smoke factor. Pack it into the tread and it will fling out at high revs of the tire.
