Hey

I have heard alot about the LIM leaking after a while on the 3400's. I have done some extensive searches on this subject, and somewhere i read that this problem has been fixed in the newer models of GA's. Sometime in 03 i think. Has anyone else heard this? I can't seem to find this artical again to confirm my memory.

If i remember right it said something that the LIM gasket has been redesigned and has fixed the problem with the LIM leaking. I don't have this problem, but i was just wondering about this and if i still have to keep an eye on it. My car is a 04, bought in August, and Manufactured May 21,2004.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Or if anyone has read that artical and know where i can find it, that would be great too.
Thanks
Scott

I would hope that a GA, 6 months old isn't having a LIM problem. If it is, that really shows GM's Quality, and makes me think "Hey my car is on such borrowed time right now"

No ... I'm not having problems with the LIM. I was just wondering since mine is new if they had fixed the gasket problem or if this is something i'll have to keep an eye on when i get more miles on it. I only have 2106 miles on it right now so i'm not worried about it yet.
