Which wire has to be cut/disconnected to disable the key chime/door chime/ chimes period! I was looking at it and I have a feeling GM intertwined everything together...but im hoping not. So if someone could tell me how to disable the chimes on a 98 3.1 I would appreciate it.

I know this is an old post, but I thought this is better than starting a new one for the same question.
I have a 97 GT 5 spd. and I want to know where the sensor/button is on the door that makes the chime sound? Sometimes I like to sit with my car off (key on ACC) door open and the stereo on (driver window has issues) and the damn sound annoys me to hell :(!
How can I make it shut up????

pull a fuse...?? that allways worked in my other cars... never tried in the GA
