well i got it back a couple days ago really pleased with the speed and clenlyness of the work not one oil spot on the entire motor.
I had it out for a drive to warm it up and look for more leaks. I decided ill take a rip down the highway should warm it up and get everything flowing. Well the curse continues while cruseing down the highway a loud squirting sound happened and then a massave cloud of white smoke. I pulled off the highway watching my temp guage cause i knew it was rad fluid burning dident wana over heat it. I got home poped the hood and all on the left side of my clean motor is smeared in rad fluid. It looks like its only the rad cap wich i hope, but no where can i find the right rad cap for my car to test my theory it dose not leak from hoses or anything so i dunno untill i get the right cap im yet again screwed lol go figure.

oh they also told me the oil line to the turbo is severly crinked so thats the next thing i need to fix after the rad fluid problem.

If it's the aluminum part that attaches to the end of the head you may want to check that it's straight. Both the head mating, and thermostat housing mating surface. They tend to warp over time and won't seal right. I had to go to town on mine with a flat file to get it nice and straight.

Its all sealed up right bad gasket.

Today I decided sence its warm out to rip into my motor and see whats going on after 4 hours I find that the waste gate vacume line was kinda crinked so I fixed it pulled the intake off the turbo and checked the blades there is to much play in them but I wouldent know what to much is lol.(they move up and down but dont hit the walls inside the turbo) so if its to much play then the turbo is shot???. I found a spark plug wire that the boot is burnt up so im replaceing that. The exhaust is leaking just after the turbo where the down pipe connects was gonna try tightening the bolts but it ran long enough and it was to hot so tomorows project. some broken vacume lines just under the throttle body they lead to the egr valve. Inside the intake pipe its covered in oil closest to the turbo close to the throttle body its oily just not so bad.

anywho thats just a small update.

If my turbo is shot ill be buying a bigger one and selling or shelfing the old one.
