94 vs.96/98 tail lights

whats the difference between these years? i see a lot of the 96-98 g.a.'s come in and the only thing i see is the blinker is different.

is the shape, mounting, or size different? if the signal is the only difference i can make them work.

Why would you want 96-98 tail lights? I would either keep the ones you have which are nice already, or pick up a set of 94/95 GT tails and clear them, but that's just my opinion. I don't really like the orange blinker and would suggest just staying away from it, lol.

I think the shape is a bit different and some modification is needed to make them fit.

I actually like the Orange blinker on the taillights for some reason...but it only matches those year Grand Ams, in my opinion.

It wouldn't look good on a 99+ model.

I find the orange turn signals are easier to see at night...

Yeah I guess you're right. I have no orange or red on my car anymore except for the tail lights, so maybe that's why I don't like them...lol

On my cleared tails on my '04, I have the silver star blue/amber turn signals. I think they look pretty cool myself. ;)

the reason i want the 96-98 tail lights is i found a nice set of aftermarket tails. ive been looking at the 96-98's around here and all i can tell is the bumper is made different in the lower outer corners. the 94's are squared and the 96's are curved. just dont know if the mounting holes are the same.

would 96 altezza euro-style lights fit on a 94?? If not how do you clear them??
