so i noticed that when the ebrake is on the head lights go out. this is cool because you acctually can turn parking lights on and not have drls on or the auto lights. is it possible to rig or wire the ebrake wiring so that you can turn your parking lights on with out the drls auto lights?

you can buy a drl kit that will turn them off.

Actually on my car, pre-drl kill kit, if you turned on the parking lights the drl's and auto lamps would shut off. No need to click the ebrake.

they still only sell them for the newer ga's. the guy there i emailed said if they did produce them for the earlier models it wouldn't be for a couple of months. you can't have just parking lights on at dusk though can you? i think the auto lights won't let you.

if we can get a lot of people to email them with the pre 99 model ga's i think that and hope that they would start making them.

Yeah I think 1 click of the e-brake will turn em off, and I don't think that even remotely engages the brakes. That's probably what I'll do for the time being.:grrr:

Clicking the E-brake disables your ABS I bet. I think you should use a search engine and see if you can find a simple fix out there for your year. I was able to disable the DRLs and auto headlights on my '01 Camaro w/o buying a kit and the car was built in Canada where DRLs are required.

On mine if you click the e-brake once, it sets off a neverending chime to tell me that my ebrake is engaged. THat is if I'm moving at all.
