I just ordered a tail light from a 95 GT for my se with the intention of clearing them out. Could someone give me an "idiots guide" to clear out the tails. I've read multiple description but I didn't really understand them.
So if someone could give me a simple guide to clearing the tails, I would be grateful.

get gt tail lights.
take flathead screwdriver and pry the taillight housing and lens apart slowly. there are 4 little clamp things that are holding it together along with a bunch of sealent. pull out red plastic lens piece. take clear piece and (if you want them TOTALLY clear), use either a heatgun or hot soapy water and heat up the clear plastic with the black lines on it and slowly pull them off. I was in a hurry on mine and got some small cracks and stuff.
once you get all the black off, buff out the plastic til ALL evidence of lines is gone(i just rubbed some goof-off on it and used some soapy hot water). put the housing and lens back together, clamp them, then re-caulk them so humidity doesnt fog them up.
if you need instructions to take out your old lights/put in the new ones, just say so. ill attach a pic.

what kind of lights are those? These? (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7939588205&fromMakeTrack=true)
Would these work like that?

What do you think of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7940170996&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT)
How do you make the silver? Molded metal?

for ? # 1, yes, 3157 is the LED you need.
those are pretty sweet looking lights, but i, personally, dont like how he has the red parts on there. that kinda takes away the point of clearing them.

I left them on. I think they make it look unique.

How would it turn out on an se tail light? Is the lens itself colored?

The taillight lens on the SE's is red and not something that can be removed. It's only possible to clear the GT tails.
