Alternator Belt HELP!!!!

Hi Guys this is my first post, i tried searching but found no luck with the following issue.

I have a 1992 Pontiac Grand Am 4 Door SE. It has the Quad OHC engine.

I am trying to replace the alternator, but found out they gave me the wrong alternator.

I was wondering how do i get the belt back on? Its to tight. Any tricks or ways/things i should do?

you have to find the belt tensoner ( should be close to the alt ) grab a 15mm ( i think ) wrench . and push the tensoner towards the fire wall .. it will come up and loosen the alt belt thus letting you replace it. This job is easer with 2 ppl
