You would be surprised at how many people have never ridden in a helo before. That number is even smaller for that group who have landed on a ship out at sea. No that is some cool stuff. Well enough banter, gonna go swimming in 2 miles of water. From the Atlantic ocean...have fun and be safe.

I got to ride in the monster helo from Bahrain to my carrier in the Gulf. I think it was a CH-53, can't remember, but the take off, flight and landing were excellent. Taking off from the carrier was a little scarier!
Wow, that rhymes.
Anyway, be careful out there BT. That s@#t can be scary to work around sometimes. I spent 4 years workin' on F-18 electronics, and there were some very hairy moments on the flight deck!! Stuff you just won't see any where else, that's for sure.

I flew in a similar one as a guest.. what a rush (esp from us "army" types. I like my feet on the ground!)
