car running sluggish

i had to replace my battery . after changing it the car seems to sputter. after awhile it cleaned up some. i was wonder would it have anything to do with the computer. if so what should i do to fix it. any help would be useful. thanks.

The computer most likely just had to relearn how the car ran. Example.
A 93 grand marquise came into autozone one day for a check engine light. The car ran fine. After giving the man the 6 codes i told him i would disconnect the battery to see if some of the codes would go away. After the computer reset he started and put it into gear the car cut off. After the car cut off about five times it started to run right again.
