Part of my shifter light(s) went out. The light bulbs that light up P R N D 1 2 3 went out and I took apart the unit(just snaps in and out) and had to unsolder the bulbs and went to RadioShack thinking they might have the bulb since its on an electic circuit type board. They didn't have anything and don't think automotive stores would carry them. Anyone know what kind of bulbs these are so I can search for them easier?

Why don't you use leds instead? I'm not sure if you have already done some interior lighting or not, but that way you can make them match.
EDIT: or talk to Cmnky16 since I think he has done this before. I found this link which you had actually posted in before...

LED's would be kind of hard to use since they are a directional light, these little bulbs aren't directional so the light emits in all directions....But I think I found a bulb that I can use,as long as its 12v to the orignal bulbs

You can get coloured leds rather than the clear, colour ones. They may fade over time, but who knows.

LED's won't fade but its a good idea. I did find out though that the little unit takes in 12volts so i don't feel like wiring in a resistor when these little bulbs I found are bright.Thanx for your guys' help:)
