Ok, well i used projectors/angel eye 1 piece headlights for a 92-95 civic (4 DR), For my car all i had to do was bend in the metal on the fenders so it was flush, then removed the stock headlight housing thing totally. and the headlights fit right in there. Had to hack off the stock brackets since they went up too high and bit the hood. Used a few mending braces and my bench vise and some brute muscle to make the perfect brackets which i mounted to the headlights then to the radiator support. Gonna tackweld a triangle piece of metal to the fender and then use fiberglass/bondo to mold in the headlight for a perfect fit. The wiring on the headlights are all done, gonna do the halos to a switch within the next week. I will try to get pics up on monday, And when you see the pics yes my car is all in primer, still waiting on the guy to install my sunroof (The prelude slide out one type), and to find a spoiler that i like and my father will be painting it, a gunmetal black/gray metallic. Have enkei 17" chromes as well for it which im now sporting 14" steelies from my parts 94 se due to winter snow flurries.
I have also installed the m3 mirrors from the 97 accord. They are power and they work with my stock power mirror switch and the blinkers on the outside are wiried up to my harness.

Thanks for taking the dive into doing this! Can't wait to see it. The 99+ GAs can have their euro tails; I'll take projectors anyday. :bigok:

You might not want them when you see how they light up the road at night.
Projectors, especially with angle eyes, look nice, but suck for illumination.

I'm aware of the crappy output. That's where a good set of driving lights and better bulbs come in. But anywho...looks awesome.

m3 mirrors were done with the 97 accord m3 power mirrors. I took off the whole old mirror housing, the plate it comes with lines up pretty good. Theres a tab that sticks up on the plate , i dremeled that off, lined it up in the mirror position and where the screw holes go into the mirror i drilled new ones(holes) through my door housing that lined up with the holes on the new mirror, and placed long screws/washers through it. Wiring i dont quite remember the colors or what not.

oh yeh, also i have done a custom CAI using a intake system from a 96 civic. I will post pics on that, realitivily simple install.
Move battery sideways, cut battery base a bit, then install intake with a 3" rubber housing to the intake, Had to cop off about 2-3" at the end since it went down too low, now its just above my frame.

hard to get much done when its below 32 deg out and heating oil is around 1.75 a gallon, or id be heating up my garage like i usually do.
About the japanesee thing, any "aftermarket" part ive seen are all made in jap/china weither its made for a domestic or not. My cai is a ractive brand, made in usa all your electronic components like recievers/subs in most cars are made in japan. So i dont take to nicely when you call my car japanesse.
since its powered by GM. not vtech

vtec is a damn good engine. electronically controlled variable valve timing..yummy.

Why does your hood have such a huge gap in the center?

Too bad domestic automakers like GM has had a form of variable valve timing decades and decades before VTEC. :)
Anyhow back on topic. :)

maybe its possibly a rubber bump stop situation. After I got my kit installed I had a huge gap so I just adjusted those rubber bump stops and fixed the gap and now its back to the normal minimum gap.

yeh i have some adjusting to do to the bump stops/the front locking mechanisim, the car has been in a few accidents (not my fault in the front end) just taking me a bit longer to adjust everything after i replaced the fender and fixed the support.

Id hate to deal with a twisted chasis.Just besure if you ever get a body kit to make sure your chasis isn't twisted a lot thats frustrating once youve worked on the kit to fit then find out the chasis and front mounting area is twisted....... headlights and mirrors are looking freat, can't wait to see finished project:)

yeh the frame is fine, the car must have been in 2 previous + accidents before i had bought it 2 years ago. And since ive owned it it has been hit 3 times in the front passengers side, taking out my fender/side marker every since instance. All that was a little iffy was the radiator support on that side of the impact which has been straightened and then extra supported added (which should have been on there originally)
