A family member is selling her red 1995 Grand am se coupe with around 20,000 miles on it (she lives in New York city and obviously doesn't drive much). My first car was a green 1995 Grand am se sedan and I absoultely loved that little car. Now that i know a little more about cars, maintenance, and such...I was thinking about buying it, but i definately prefer the GT body style.... Besides the front/rear bumbers, sideskirts, and dual exhaust...

Can anyone think of anything else I would need to make this conversion possible?

Also....could someone give me a price estimate to have the car (including the added body components) repainted black?

Ideas...comments...concerns...suggestions....all are desired...

Or would it just be cheaper to buy a 1995 GA GT?

other then you mentioned there would be Taillights, suspension parts, and different tranny gearing and a few other things I can't think of.

a 10 year old car with such low mileage.. wow.. That is really cool, yet it may not be all its cracked up to be. If a car just sits a lot, and doesn't get much of a workout, that can cause problems as well
