I have a 2004 Grand Am 4 door I am trying to remove the right rear door panel, I have a general idea of the way some panels are removed on other model cars.
My problem is that I removed the screw in the hand grip and removed the screw and the trim piece for the door release handle.
I tried to gently pop off the door panel starting at bottom.
it does not seem to want to pop and I don't want to force it and break something.
I noticed there is a slot at the bottom of the door panel, is there a way to release the panel and is there a special tool to do it with.
I don't want to butcher the panel trying to guess.
If anyone has removed any panels on late model Grand ams it would be appreciated if you could help me out with any tricks or tips , so I don't make any mistakes that would cost $$
Thank you
