I actually thought about doing that, but I am not sure how the silver mesh would look with the black pain, and the windows being as dark? My friend wanted me to untill I pointed that out... Just kind of left it at not doing anything with that stuff. I would LOVE to make the hood scoops functional, but have no idea on how to go about this (make it look pretty under the hood) I have the concept on how to run the pipe to the air box... but that is it!

take a dremel tool or sumthing similar and cut out the plastic in the scoops then ut it mesh....and no need to run anything from the air box to their....jus have a WAI and it should work fine..

very nice!!! I agree that a silver grille would look nice. but i see what you mean about the car being so black, silver might draw to much attention. Maybe you could get a black one??? Here is a black car that was just posted with a silver grille.

*was only $1800 more then the one year old used one I was looking at... needless to say, the guy trying to sell me the used one was mad when he saw me driving off with her!* I could get the silver stuff, sand it, prim and paint it black, or maybe some darker color? I do like the way it looks, just I don't want it to be the main thing everyone notices right off the bat.

Well looking around the site, I discovered I like the looks of one's black ga that has blue brake callipers... although it would take the fun out of doing that, im thinking maybe a darker shade of blue, black mesh might be done durring spring break when I can spare the extra 10-20 bucks or what ever... I guess I should list what all has been done to her also... Don't think I have done that.
5% Side and back window tint
30% full windsheild
K and N air filter
Chrome valve covers for the wheels

Doesn't that car look familiar? Hmm

Honestly you got chrome rims, they stand out as it is. The XXL mesh looks much better in person and has more of a chrome look to it as well. I like how the light reflects off of it but If I were to get black IMO you might as well not get the XXL. They only way to even tell you got a new grill is to get up close which would be a waste of 40 bucks IMO.

BTW I thought they started the chopper rims halfway thru 02? I know the 30th anniversary package had the 5 spoke chrometechs!

BTW here is the setup with my dark blue and silver calipers. But this pic was with the ADR wheels on.

I think that silver mesh looks sharp on black.
See this link (http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27660) about hood vent removal.

GTLUVA, how'd you come across that SC/T kit front? (I couldn't tell if you had the sides or back on, too)
I like it, it'd be the only kit that I think I would put on my car... if I could find it anywhere.

I just got the sct chin front spoiler. Bought it from the Guru2 Ryan on grandamgt.com boards. Drove 20 hours to pick it up. Had to drive through chicago, indiana and finally picked it up in Sterling Heights. I picked in up in October. Got to hang around with some members from the GDC. Had tons of fun in Michigan even though I was only their for one night. I wish I could get a hold of the rest of the kit but my chances are slim:P

Sterling Heights.. sounds familiar, but never have been there. Yes, Michigan is a cool place :) I just joined the GDC forum recently, nice place. I'm glad to hear that you got the chin spoiler at least, what'd he do with the rest of the kit? And if you don't mind me asking, how much did he charge you? Soo... I wonder what it would take for whoever made those to start making them again... :D

There is the picture with the wheel....

and here is what it looks like without the wheel...

it was supposed to be a solid color blue, but the paint turned into a purple/blue mix which was unexpected but turned out neat!! (must admit i was pe'od when it wasnt a solid blue but i soon liked it!) also repainted the black bar around the bottom of the caliper with a glossy black.
