Hello everyone. Newbie to these boards. I mostly post over on Thirdgen.org for my 1984 Firebird, but since I have owned a 2000 Grand Am SE for about 2 years now I thought I would see if there were any forums for it. Sure enough.

I love the looks of the Grand Am but this car has been a pain. Ive had it in the shop for a number of problems that I recently found out were pretty common with these cars.

Anyway.....

Here's a pic. Nothing special. All stock. I planned on doing some mods but since the car gave me so much trouble for a while I decided not to sink any extra money into it.

Thanks for the comments guys,

I've owned the firebird for 7 years. First car I ever bought. It needed a bit of restoring when I got her and she turned out pretty good. She has shown some wear and tear lately and needs a good once over again. Given a high school budget when I got the car, I was limited on the work I could do to it.

It was pictured in a Firebird History book that released a couple years ago.

Mark Cranswick, the author, was looking for info on the 2.5L Iron Duke motor that went in these cars in 1982-1986. Got a couple pics together and he put them in the book. Here were the actual pictures used in the book:

Thought it was pretty cool that anyone would be interested in a firebird like mine, but hey, whatever floats their boat. :D
