Ummm I think it's a CRX. I know a lot of people that would love it though, just not my bag.

I have had a lot of mixed feelings on the car. But hey the car was free, I haven't put any money into so far and I don't plan on putting too much more into it. It is pretty much a joke.

Thats what I was thinking... I'd mess around with it if it was free... come on how can you turn that down?

you put enough money into its engine/new engine those suckers can fly down the street/track. Those are great project cars to have, even though my project car would have to be the car my dad had,67 Camero RS/SS(it was a rare model, think there were only like 500 made in that year, not sure, could have been more then that). Good luck on it!:)

WTF?!?

*stands up and applaudes*

Dude.. don't know if I like it or not, but, the fact that you cut the top off makes me hope that this turns out perfect for ya!

Must admit, almost fell on the floor from laughing when I saw the pic of the top gone. (*note: nothing wrong with that, just suprised me)

Good luck with it!!

Thats awesome, haha, if you are serious about this thing see if you can get a b18 in there, its all about the vtec, and i bet it weighs next to nothing now that you have stripped it and chopped the top off, and it looks way better with out the top. Can't wait to see it when its done.

How are you going to make the body rigid? I would imagine that the way it is now, it would shake like Michael J. Fox on a Minnesota morning.

always thought those CRX's were pretty cool, and vanishingimage is right, those things fly down the track with a little modification.

My friend has a 1st gen and a 2nd gen right now that he is doing swaps on. He just picked up a b20 and is currently in the process of putting it in the 1st gen (i think). I swear, he's like the mad scientist or something...

Pretty cool idea. Those little things have started to grow on me as my friend has been working on his more and more. The potential is endless.

I almost bought a new '88 CRXsi ... like them a BUNCH but they weren't really good for baby seats :)

I am probably gonna put some sort of support under the car and build a small cage inside the car. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to run this car at a track because it doesn't have a top. So I probably won't go crazy with the engine.
