What do you guys use to wax your car, like what kind of aplicators do you use to apply the wax and what do you use to take it off? I just read the post about the swirl marks from the Meguires gold class wax and eventhough the car looked great afterwards it had some swirl marks. So whats the best thing to use to get them off?

carnauba wax, apply by hand with a damp sponge. Removed with a old T-Shirt. Re-applied, and removed. Re-re-applied, removed, then buffed with a electronic buffer.

How about the soft detail cloths that come in a pack of 6 from autozone or walmart? Are those good to use?

The last time I waxed my car, I used the new Meguiar's NXT Tech wax. I was very please with the result I got.

i use mothers clay bar/carnouba wax, meguiars swirl remover and polish, and Zymol wax. to apply it i use those round applicators and to remove i have a VERY soft cloth ,that i currently cant find, so im getting some baby blankets.

ive used the megiars gold class but its tough to get off. turtle wax doesnt do as well as zymol, but for car shows the meguiars gold class is nice since it leaves an oily finish. that finish does attract dust if you park outside at night.

I use Klasse. I apply with a damp terry cloth towel and remove with a orbital buffer. Works every time and lasts about 6-12 months.
