need opinion quick

K heres my story, I purchased a set of Eagle Alloy 185 series in Polished. 2 fo the rims came in damaged. a month later, the place where i bought them from gets the 2 replacement rims in. these just like the first set are damaged as well. nothing major just some scuffs. YET as a replacement they offered me any rim in the store, in any size, and any finish...after narrowing it down and finding out that the AT atalias INOX 17s only come in silver.........ive come to the decision between, 1. keeping the rims i have on the car, or switching them for a set of Chrome 17" Motegi DPK. i need opinions, i have till this thursday to make a decision. please help.......keep what i have, or go for the chrome??????there is no price difference, this is a exact swap.....

I think they are both pretty sweet.. so.. either way.. it will look good. However, the way I am.. I would stick with the originals because, that is what I wanted in the first place and the other rims would be "second best" in my mind.

I'd make them order the original rims once more.. if it still doesn't work.. then switch. Remember .. 3rd times the charm!

the guy was offering me 20's if i wanted them, yet i dont want to pay the money to drop the car. and this is a daily driver. i am a senior in college so i have a lot of bills to pay....i went back down there today and they re ordered the rims for me so i will be keeping the eagle 185s. thanks all for the info though

oh snap... i didnt even think of that. selling a set of 20s would have been good. Dude you should have done it! i know some ethnic minorities that would love a set of those rims in 20s. and some white kids too

i am going down there today, i was offered the motegi dpk's in chrome for an even trade with my proxes 4 tires. though im going to keep the 185's. i know i could make a lot of money off of selling the other rims, yet to me its more of a hassle. i love the 185 style and the more i think about it, the more id rather take some scratches on the rims than be kicking myself in the ass later tomorrow afternoon. you never would expect yourself to have to make a decision like this yet, i dont want to make a mistake and regret it for the remaining time that i own the car. the 185's fit the car nicely and give it a unique style....though thanks all again for the info and all, youve been a big help....
